Seems as if right out of the box of the merger, you find it necessary to impose the fear of cancellation of your acquired payers as if to garner a justified increase or cancellation of contracts that you as an agent are paid to perform as a certified professional. I suppose that a word to the Corporation Commission is in order to inform them of the practice rampart in their jurisdiction.

Recently when my mother passed away we inherited her home. My parents had used Travelers Insurance since the 1960s for all their insurance needs. When I inquired about her home coverage, I was informed that the policy was no longer in effect since her death and we would not be covered if anything happened. No effort to change or write a new policy was offered and it was suggested to me to call my own insurance agent. What way is this to run a business? I'm glad that my Allstate Agent was happy to quickly insure the property for us--the same day. I would not recommend the Andrew Agency.

We've been using the Andrews Agency (previously A&R Associates) for our personal and business insurance needs since 1987 and 2000. My agent is easy to reach, very helpful and responsive, and so nice. She makes things a pleasure. I wouldn't still be with them for 37 years if they weren't AWESOME! Would give them 10 stars if I could.

I've been with Andrew Agency if I'm not mistaken, since 2009. They are great until you have an actual problem. When insurance rates increase, they're quick to notify you and that money immediately comes out. Phone calls and emails are almost always returned immediately, until there's a problem. If you get into an accident you're told that you should continue to pay full coverage for a vehicle that is totaled because it's easier to keep it that way. If it takes a month, two months, or even longer to get payment for an accident, you should just understand that these things take time. I thought I had a good relationship with them, and I did, until I actually needed them.

Edit: It was over 30 days, not less than, and it only happened because I had to consistently call or email. The claims adjuster in his words said, "I accidentally forgot to respond to you about your claim" because it took 2 weeks before there was ever a response from him. Don't even get me started on Travelers. There is NO reason it should take as long as it does. "This is a reasonable timeframe..." that speaks volumes about how serious you take your customer's issues.
